Congratulations to our November DAISY & BEE Awards Winners!
DAISY Award
Congratulations, Brian Micech, RN! Brian is our latest DAISY Award Winner! Read his nomination below:

I wanted to give a huge compliment to one of your nurses who helped my family this weekend. His name is Brian, and he helped my aunt and my family through a very difficult time. I have been in healthcare for many years, and I was so impressed with how Brian handled things. He walked into a chaotic situation with difficult family dynamics and exuded calm and confidence. It was really amazing to watch him work, and I can’t say enough good things about his professionalism and knowledge. We have a special-needs family member who was present, and Brian took the time to get to know her, sit with her, and explain what was happening in a way she could understand. His gentleness and kindness were so appreciated and touching. He really has a way with people that is rare to find these days. My whole family was at peace when he left. I just wanted your organization to know that you have some top-notch nurses working for you. We need more Brians in the world!
BEE Award
Marissa Goetz is our latest BEE Award recipient! Way to go, Marissa! Read her nomination below:

I want to nominate Marissa for the BEE Award because she is absolutely incredible. The work done “behind the scenes” is some of the hardest work and most often the work is overlooked. Marissa responds with great and positive energy. She is always willing to do an extra task and continuously goes above and beyond to ensure the best outcome for our patients. Bees do not worry about being watched; they do the work necessary for their colony or hive. This is Marissa—with a smile in her voice and on her face—she takes on her tasks for the best of our patients and to help us out. If she doesn’t have an answer, she will find one and get you what you need. Marissa deserves to be recognized with the BEE Award because she is truly an extraordinary employee, person, and co-worker. It is those who do the work with heart that deserve to be acknowledged. Thank you, Marissa, for never failing to go above and beyond your role and for always being kind.
